When I was in High School we had to assist with Targa Tasmania. I was one of the marshalls that had to give directions to the competitors on where they had to park at the Casino before setting off on the first morning. They all had to be in numerical order and facing south so they could all just drive out of the car park one after the other, in order, with no delays etc..

Told Brock where his park was as he drove in, and he drove nose first in, instead of reversing in. Asked him to turn around so he was facing the other way (same as all the other cars) and he didn't seem too pleased. Can't remember what he said exactly but it was something along the lines of 'does it matter'..

Thats all I remember about my experience in meeting him. And I got a hat signed.

I didn't expect you to agree with me Mat

I had two doses of Brock and he was ultra arogent both times, once was at an amatuerish race event (maybe becuase I was an amateur), the other was at an automotive related event. I also met a nurse who apparently treated brockies wife after he bashed her, not sure how true that was though. So yeah, I find it difficult to understand why he's idolised and I thought he was an OK driver, average on a world scale.

I dunno... maybe nine Bathurst wins? Amongst various other major events and a few championships?

Well done CH9 successfully stretched 1 hour of Top Gear to 1.5 hours what a joke they even managed to fit a 3 minute add break into the star in a reasonably priced car segment that's about as long as the whole segment goes for unbelievable!!!
